I didn’t realize we had the smallest downtown in the country. =P

That’s definitely a first though. Most non-natives I talk to refer to everywhere that isn’t the ‘hood they’re staying in as “downtown”. For example, a student I talked to from U of C said he loved this little restaurant he had been to in “downtown”…. in Boystown. *headdesk*

Oh, and for the record? You know who says we should “agree to disagree”?

I think of “downtown” as North Avenue to Roosevelt, and the lake to Halsted. Of course, I’m right.
